2006/2007 Harlow College had 2 new buildings erected and we carried out the Cat5e structured cabling within these buildings and then the fibre and voice backbone cabling back to the existing comms room. 

Data:  450 points were installed using the Excell product range with a 25 year warranty.

Fibre:  2 OM3 multimode fibres were fed to the respective new buildings with a fibre link between the ground and first floor cabinets in both new blocks giving maximum bandwidth, flexibilty and redundancy

Voice:  As the campus runs on a traditional (non voip) telephone system 50 pair multicore cable were required to each building.  These were terminated onto the voice frame in the main campus comms room at one end and on to RJ45 voice panels in the new building enabling a true structured cabling environment for future use.
